		<description>Interesting, this Barbara West.  I was determined to make Aviations tonight, but unbeknownst to me I had only a bar spoonful of maraschino in the house.  So I used that, substituted some amontillado for the rest, eased up on the lemon juice a little, and garnished with a lemon twist.  The gin was old reliable Beefeaters.  The result was your (rather, Ted Haigh&#039;s) Barbara West, with a nice bit of roundness and depth from the scant portion of maraschino.  Quite tasty, and quite a discovery through you that my &quot;accident&quot; had a name!</description>
